Adult Mukluk Patterns

Alaskan Adult Mukluk Patterns by Lois are a fabric insulated mukluk pattern. It can be made with fabric, pile or fur. Although Alaskan natives usually sew mukluks by hand, the mukluks described here are unique in that they can be machine sewn with a minimum of hand work. Designed by Gene Tapp, these mukluks have a lining of 9oz. Jen-Cel-Lite with an outer shell of fabric or fur. The sole is medium weight leather for sturdiness and for use on a sewing machine. The mukluk is designed and sized to allow for heavy wool socks to be worn inside during severe cold.
